Karnataka is blessed with 320-kms long coastline. It throws open to the visitors a picture perfect world of fascinating palm-fringed beaches. The serenity and un-spoilt charm of the area, coupled with the spontaneity of the coastal folk, and their delectable cuisine is just overwhelming.
  1. Karwar Beach: Karwar is the capital of Uttara Kannada district. Karwar makes a good starting point, for the voyage of discovering the thrills of the sea, sand and sun.   4. Murudeshwar Beach: Murudeshwar beach situated between Honnavar and Bhatkal, 1 km off the National Highway is the scenic holy place of Murudeshwar. It is a popular picnic spot, having beautiful blue waters of the sea and the majestic mountains.   5. Bhatkal Beach: Dotted by the calm blue seas and majestic hills, this beach is a popular tourist spot and known for the exquisite temples. This place is a favorite tourist spot and known for the gorgeous temple perched on a hillock by the shore.


  6. Ullal Beach: Ullal beach is just 5 kms from Mangalore, Ullal is a lovely spot for those seeking holiday by the sea. With its picturesque casuarina groves, beach cottages and a swimming pool one can spend tranquil hours seeking peace in this paradise.


  7. Kaup: Kaup is situated 12 kms south of Udupi. Kaup has a lovely beach, a ruined fort and an old 100ft. high lighthouse. The two temples of Goddess Mariamma in Kaup are famous.
